Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate


This makes about 2 cups of hot chocolate


  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons of chocolate syrup or fudge
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of caramel
  • marshmallows (or whipped cream)
  • coarsely grained salt


  1. boil the milk on the stove until it is warm and a little creamy on top
  2. while the milk is boiling, line the bottom of each cup with caramel
  3. slowly add the chocolate syrup and vanilla
  4. pour into mugs and serve with marshmallows on top (or whipped cream)
  5. Sprinkle a little bit of salt on top
